Prayer: Those who have Sarpadosha, Men and Women whose marriage is getting delayed offer prayers by lighting Agal Vilakku and go round the temple (Pradhikshanam) during Ragu Kalam. Those who do these offerings are blessed immediately. The devotees offer lot of things to the presiding deity as soon as their prayers has been fulfilled. Hence lots of cattle is being offered to the main deity for the well being of their family. Devotees visit the temple and light Agal villaku to get rid of the troubles faced by them due to Black Magic and Grahadhosham. People around Dharapuram and Udumalpet frequently visit the temple to offer their prayers.
