  • Prasadam

    Five types of prasadam Raagi Laddu, Venpongal, Lemon rice,Ravakesari and Chakkarai Pongal are provided one after the another for the devotees daily in the temple in the Mandabam situated in the Eastern side of Thirukundam from 6 AM to 9 PM. This full time prasadham is given at no cost for the devotees.Devotees can also participate in the scheme by offering donations.

  • Prayer

    The Goddess Arulmigu Bannari Mariamman is a self manifested image (Suyambu) seen in the from of lingam . Usually temples will be constructed facing East. But here the deity ArulmiguBannariMariamman is facing south. This is a special feature. In this temple, soil grey in colour collected from a particular place is given as Amman Thirumanprasadam for devotees instead of Thiruneerprasadam is a speciality in this temple. In this Temple Kundam Festival is a prominent Notified festival. In the Kundam festival, cattle also enter Thirukundam after the human devotees. This feature of Cattle running through Thirukundam is the spciality of this temple.

  • Prayer

    During Fullmoon days every month 108 Thiruvilakupoojai is performed in the temple in the evening after Sayaratchai poojai Moolavar. Expenditure per devotee is Rs.800- but, only Rs.200- is collected from the participants. Remaining Rs.600- is metout by the temple each participant is offered 22 things Includingsaree, Brass Kamatchi amman Vilaku.

Services

Annadhanam: Annadhanam Scheme started in this temple on 23.02.2022. After Utchikala poojai Annadhanam is provided at 12.00 noon to the Devotees in the Annadhana koodam which is situated next to the KarunaiIllam in the eastern side of the Temple. In Annadhanam Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Buttermilk, Poriyal, pickle are served. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays Annadhanam is provided for 200 devotees and on Sundays, Mondays and Fridays in a week which attract more crowd 400 devotees are served with annadhanam. On new moon days (Amavasai) 1000 devotees are benefited under this scheme.

For providing Annadhanam for 200 devotees the expenditure is Rs.7000. Annadhanahundial, Donations, Interest from Deposits are the income sources for Annadhanam Scheme. Devotees can participate in this scheme on any day as they wish by donating any sum of amount. Donations made for this scheme is having exemption from Income Tax under Sec.80(G) of the Income Tax Act. This Donation is Exempted u/s 80G of the Income tax Act 1961 by Commissioner / I.T.II CBE in C.No.227(5)/CIT-II / CBE 2002-03 12.10.2012

  • Lactating Mothers Room

    For the convenience of the lactating mothers a separate furished feeding room has been allocated near the Western entrance of the temple.

  • Wheel Chair

    There are three Wheelchairs in the temple for the comfort of Aged and Physically Challenged devotees. Ramps are made at required places so that devotees can reach the sannidhi from the entrance without difficulty.This service is given at no cost for the devotees.

  • Battery Car

    Six seater Battery Car is run by the temple in the temple premises for the convinience of the Aged and Physically Challenged devotees.This service is given at no cost for the devotees.

  • Accommodation Facility

    Rooms are available for accommodation on the eastern side of temple 32 rooms were constructed to facilitate the stay of devotees coming to the temple.The rent of a room is Rs250/- per day.Another block of 5 rooms for a rent of Rs.750/- per day is suitated near karunai illam in sathyamangalam road.These are boarding facilities available in the temple for devotees.

  • Marriage Hall

    Marriage hall has been located on the eastren side of the temple.Marriage hall is available for the rent of Rs.20000 per day.

  • Golden Chariot

    After Sayaratchai Poojai, Golden Car procession takes place at 6.00 p.m. daily in the outerprakaram of the temple. Devotees can participate in the procession on the payment of Rs.1000-. 5 (Five) persons are allowed for a ticket and Prasadam of Pongal 0.500 gram, Brass Kamatchiammanvilakku, Eversilver Box, Coconut 2 nos., Banana 12 nos. and Parivattam are given for the participating devotees.

  • Drinking Water R.O.

    R.O. plant of 500 litrs capacity and R.O. plant of 250 litrs capacity are placed near Western entrance of Temple and near office building respectively. Through these two plants Purified Drinking water is provided to the devotees at four places.

  • Toilet Facility

    There are about 11 number of Toilets for Men and Women each near Eastern side gate of the temple and 6 number of Toilets for Men and Women each in the Theppakulam area. There are also 60number of toilets in the Southern side of the temple which are used only during festival time. In the temple premised totally there are about 74 number of toilets for men and women each. Bathrooms for men and women in 24 are also constructed for.

  • Hospital

    Medical centre is run by the temple administration for the welfare of the devotees. The timing of medical centre is from 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. Two Doctors, Two Nurses and Two Multipurpose attenders are working in shift basis.

  • Library Facility

    Temple Library is situated in the Eastern side of the Temple. Daily Newspapers and Religious books are available in the library for reading.

  • Tonsure Facility

    Tonsure shed (Mudimandapam) is situated on the western side of the temple down the slope near ArulmiguSarugumariammansannidhi. 12 workers are engaged for tonsuring by the Temple administration. Tonsuring is done for the devotees free of cost. Near the Tonsureshed bathrooms are constructed for bathing purpose. In Tonsure shed, Water heater is fitted for Children.
