Prayer: The Thandu Mariamman, who is an aspect of Goddess Durga, is said to cure incurable disease. On Tuesdays during the Rahu period by lighting a lemon lamp and worshiping for 9 weeks, unmarried women can get married. Suffering will go away as soon as the mother sees it. Her Thiruvadi vision will solve unsolvable problems and endless cases. Couples who have been separated by disagreement will be reunited. Those who have been healed by the grace of the Mother pay homage with metal eyes. Those who are blessed with children, worship with earthen figurines, idols made of gold and silver.
