• Sheerakundam

  Shirakundam (Parkulam)- Located in front of the temple, this Tirukulam was d by the feet of the divine cow Kamathenu and is where the Lord bestows tirtha during Shivaratri. Every year at the end of Navaratri on Vijayadashami, Theppathruvizha is held at thirukulam.

  Brahma Theertha - thirukkulam is south-west of Thirukarugavur downstream of the stone road. In Margazhithiruvadirai, Lord Natarasha along with Sivagami Goddess come here and offer thirtham.
