Historical: All the four Vedas came in human form and worshiped this temple. &ampbull This is the place where the Lord Mahabaleeswara Chakravardhya was reincarnated in this place where the rats nose caught fire in the light of the lamp in the sanctum sanctorum of the Lord. &ampbull It is special to present a wedding stick to Agastya. • It is the site of Vishnu Durga, consecrated and worshiped by Ramapiran. • It is a special place where Saraswati resides without a veena because the sound of Ammas laughter in this thalam is more wonderful than the sound of veena. • Veerahathi Vinayagar who kicked Ramabhira`s Brahmahati dosa with his right foot and got rid of it.• Murugan is anointed with honey on Tuesdays as well and the anointed honey is offered as prasad to the devotees who want to give birth.

Services

Annadhanam: Annadhanam Donation Under the Annadana scheme announced by the Honble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, 50 persons are given Annadanam per day. Devotees can participate in the Annadanam program by paying Rs 2000/- as a fee for 50 persons. 30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) will be invested and the interest earned from it will be arranged to be given on any auspicious day of the donors choice such as wedding day, birthday and business start day. It has income tax exemption (80G).
