Tourist: At Kuthanur Srimaha Saraswati Temple, every year during Navratri, Ambal is decorated and special poojas are performed. During the Navratri festival, the God of wisdom Maha Ganapati is seen walking in all directions. On the days of Saraswati Puja, Vijayadashami, Maha Saraswati Ambal sits on the Annapatsi Vahanam and takes a beautiful walk. On Saraswati Puja, the Sri feet of Sri Maha Saraswati Moolavikram are stretched out with great care and beautifully decorated and all the devotees perform pushpa pooja directly at Ambals feet. Devotees consider this as a blessing in life. Special pujas are performed to Maha Saraswati Ambal on every full moon day. On that day Ambal Arulasi will take a special lead in the education of the growing children.
Services
Annadhanam: Food is given to 50 people daily. Devotees can participate in the food donation program by paying a fee of Rs.1750/- for 50 persons.
