• Historical

  Lord Muruga who has special names as Kodai andavar, kodai nagar kumaran

• Thala Virutcham

  King Bhagiratha was blessed with the words of Sage Durvasa and his lost kingdoms were restored. Benefits of Padri Tree: The Padiri tree, full of fragrance and similar to the red flower, which has only flowers without fruit or fruit, is the centerpiece of this temple.

• Thala Virutcham

  The beauty of this temple is that Lord Muruga, the main idol of this temple, is presented to the devotees as a priest tree. So the place of this temple is called Paathiri Tree.

• Prayer

  As Moolavar Murugaperuman Valli Deivayana is blessed by the deity, the marriage ban of the devotees seeking him is removed, so this Thiruthalam is a place where the marriage ban is removed.

• Holly Tank

  The special feature of this temple is the Vajjeeratirtha d by Indra, which removes the fear of the enemies called Satru Dosha.

Services

• Annadhanam

  Annadanam scheme in this temple has been functioning since 15.08.2002. Food is distributed to 100 people daily and 300 people on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Also, about 500 people are given alms along with vada and payasam on government holidays. Also, the facility of online donation has been established for the Annadhanam scheme. Note: 1. Rs.1750/- for 50 persons 2.Rs.3500/- for 100 persons is received as donation from the devotees. 3. &ampldquoIncome Tax Exemption&amprdquo is provided for the amount donated to the Thirukoil Annadanam Scheme.

• Donation

  Also in the form of kind donations i.e. article and commodities etc. The amount of donation is used for the daily administration of the Temple to fulfill the requirements like accommodation, food etc. of the pilgrims, to supply the medical services to the poor and needy.

  Wheelchairs have been arranged for the devotees by the temple staff so that the elderly and differently abled can easily have darshan of Swami.

  In this temple, on the right side of the southern Rajagopuram, there are exclusively five baths for men and five baths for women

  There are five toilets for men and five toilets for women at the northern outer gate of the temple.
