Others: Dakshinamoorthy is the special deity of this temple. In the South Facing chamber of the sanctum sanctorum, the south-facing deity Sri Guru Dakshinamoorthy sits on a pedestal with 12 zodiac signs (from Aries to Pisces) and blesses the Guru by removing the defects caused by the Guru. The good news is that Datsinamoorthy is the only one to make an appearance in such a field. All amenities will abound for those who attend the worship of the Guru held every Thursday evening.

The Kushtakulam of this temple is called Soma Theertham. Chandran and Kuberan have been blessed by the Lord to bathe in the Soma Theertham. This Temple Theertham is considered by the devotees to be the source of all sins. Devotees who have lost their wealth due to sins committed in many births can worship the Lord by bathing in this laziness on a good day and get rid of their sins, regain the lost wealth and get pride, employment, forbidden marriages, child blessing and family unity.
