    Swamy is Mars aspected, so it is believed that Mars dosha is removed here. By coming here marriage obstacles will be removed It gives birth to the barren. By saving betel leaves to Swami, the desired boons are fulfilled. Shaving, ear piercing and deity worship are customary here.

    Specialties of Vilvamaram: In the form of Icha, Kriya, Jnana Shakti of Isaan, Vilva appeared on earth by the grace of Isaan. So it is the head of Lord Shiva. Those who worship this tree will attain all siddhis and benefits. The speciality of the Vilva tree is immense with many rare fruits and medicinal properties. The three leaves of the Vilva represent the shape of the trident carried by Shiva and the trident of the Lord. We use Vilva petals with three petals for puja. It is special to worship Lord Shiva by offering Vilvama Sarthi every day. It is believed that if you visit Lord Shiva with Vilvama Sarthi on the day of Maha Shivaratri, seven sins will be removed.

  • Annadhanam

    Annadanam Scheme is being implemented from 11.09.2011.Annadhanam is given for 50 nabas per day to devotees and sevaartis who come to the temple. Annadhanam permit is issued from 12.00. Annadhanam are given to devotees from 12.30 pm to 1.30 am. Annadhanam plan on other days like birthday, wedding day etc., the days are recorded and alms are given according to the wishes of the devotees.

  • Donation

    People who want to donate can donate from Rs.100.It is customary for devotees to visit the temple to donate. Therefore, all the devotees who wish to donate should pay at the temple office and get a printed receipt.
