Honble Chief Ministers Annadanam scheme was started in this temple from 14.01.2006. The alms hall is on the right side of the Kuratthalvan shrine of this temple. 50 persons are given alms daily at 12.00 noon. 1750/- to provide alms to 50 persons and if the command invests Rs.35,000/-, 50 persons will be given alms on the day specified by the command in the year.
