Temple Specialty

Prayer: Murthy, Thalam and thirtha are important for the uniuqueness of a temple. Surulindi, also known as Surabinathi, which flows in front of the saneeswara bhagavan temple, is the tirtha at Rajavaikal. it is an ancient river in which water flows 365 days a year. Every day hundreds of devotees come to visit lord baswan. After taking a dip in this canal, they will visit the lord. it is a river of life for the devotees as its water flows all the time.

after the construction of the periyar reservoir, mulla periyar was made to merge with this river. So this channel is now separated from that periyar. In the books, we can read the news that shani bhagavan once ruled the nidatha country, the nala emperor and dinakaran, the king of the kulinga country, and many other devas were killed due to corruption. this is a place where people sit in meditation under the betel nut tree as per the order of lord ishvara andsit in meditation under the command of lord ishvara in order to get rid of their innocence even though their past actions caused them to attract even good people.
