Prayer
Temple Specilities: It is special to wear lemon garland and sevvarali garland to the auspicious Pathirakaliamman, who resides in this temple as an angel of justice. Devotees who offer lemon garland in this way will get the desired things. There will be peace in the mind. Therefore, from time to time, the devotees who come to this temple to have darshan of Swami have been given vibhuti prasadam and lemon fruit which has been worshiped at Amman sannadi as prasadam. Anointing: In this temple, it is a tradition that devotees offer milk abhishekam to the auspicious Pathirakaliamman on every full moon day. On the full moon puja, the devotees anoint the goddess with abisheks such as paneer, sandalwood, water, turmeric, milk, honey, oil, ghee, etc. Coinage: Coin minting is one of the most outstanding features of Goddess Kali, who bestows upon the devotees. This is proof that these people have worshiped Kali as an angel of justice. It is believed that if you put a coin in this temple with a wet cloth, good things will happen. He appears as an angel who gives justice to those who are deceived and cheated by not getting justice in the issue of giving and receiving, property disputes and family issues. It is a persistent custom that people who come to this temple to cut coins should take a bath and put a wet cloth in the coin cutting area opposite the shrine of Kali and then leave immediately through the east door after appealing to Kali. Swearing: The people of this village swear that what I have given is true, and the other one denies it, ties the idol below the shrine and wears a mala around his neck. They usually have. Special Days: Tuesday: Arulmiku Pathirakaliyamman is the navagraha heroine who commands the navagrahas. Therefore, if people who are not married due to the evil of Mars do darshan on Tuesday, the evil of Mars will be removed and the marriage will take place. It is believed that by visiting the goddess on three consecutive Tuesdays and lighting a ghee lamp in a lemon tree, planetary doshas will be removed and life will prosper. Friday: It is great to visit the auspicious Pathirakaliamman on Friday. Devotees who wish to have a child come to the goddess on all three Fridays and worship the Goddess by lighting a ghee lamp in a lemon tree. Also, people with chronic diseases, those who wish to be blessed by Thali, those who are mentally ill, those who wish for education, and those who pray for good things continue to wear lemon garlands and sevvarali garlands to the Goddess on Fridays, so the devotees have the hope that they will get relief from their unsolved problems. Sunday: The Uchikala Puja held on Sundays is very special as Mother Kaliamman appears with great inspiration as the auspicious Patirakaliamman stands on one leg facing the east facing the sun and absorbs all the rays of the sun. Thus, the court case which thinks that the devotees worshiping Pathirakaliamman on Uchikala Puja on Sunday will win. If students do darshan they can get high marks in education. Children will be given to those who have been abandoned as they are no longer blessed with children. Those who were told that the marriage will not take place will also get a good boon by worshipping amman. Therefore, the belief that all the problems will be solved if the devotees pray to the goddess on Sunday for their grievances has been abiding. Courtesy of Amman: Devotees who come to this temple to have darshan of Swami, offer lemon garlands to the goddess as a main activity. A lemon garland is offered elegantly to the Goddess to cool the Pathirakaliamman with Asura Kolam. It is believed that all the diseases in the body will be cured if the devotees eat the worshiped lemon fruit which is offered as prasad to the devotees who visit this temple. And every day during Uchikala Pooja, sugar Pongal with coconut and fruit is offered to Swami as Neivedi. Devotees make elaborate offerings to the Goddess such as circling sarees, flower garlands, cardamom garlands etc. according to their wishes. Devotees who want child boon tie a cradle on the tree in the temple prakaram, those who ask for marriage boon tie tali rope on the tree in the prakaram, those who have child boon pay the hair count, devotees pay gold and silver ornaments and money as per their convenience in a bank account. Also, the devotees pay fines for live offerings of goats, cows, chickens and roosters in this temple. Devotees offer paddy and wheat grown in their land to this temple.
