King's Period

Pandiyan

Temple Specialty

Parigaram: Prince Paranjothi Desikar, the king of Manalur, had come to see the king and talk about what he needed to do. The Guru to be worshiped was not even welcomed by the king. Guru went back. The Gurus mind and the kings sin were born together as a curse. Knew the curse. Mannavan realized the mistake.

The king stood in adoration of Acharya Adimalar. The sentence became reparation. Desikar commissioned Lord Pandian to build a temple for the king in the forest where the sages froze. Pandian sailed south in search of the archery forest. He saw an arch on the eastern edge of Aruppukottai. Under the tree he knew the tomb of the Kailaya lineage Siddha Purusar. The king realized that this was the place where the priest had said. He built a temple there for Lord Shiva who had a temple of thought.Since then, the Guru has been a place of absolution.
