Historical: A place where Saivism and Vaishnavism are one and the same. Among the Panchabhuta Sthalas, this is Man Sthala (Land) and the special feature of this Thiruthalam is that Shiva and Vishnu appear together as Shankaranarayana.It is true that bathing in the Nagasunai Teppam of this temple, worshiping Swami Ambal and taking the mud from the mud will cure all incurable diseases. It is very good that one who thinks of worshiping Ambal from the chakra peedam in the Ambal shrine will be successful.

Services

Annadhanam: 150 people are fed daily in this temple. Per day Rs. 5250/- and 150 persons will be given annadhanam in the name of the remitter. Donor details will be written on the notice board. If Devotees paid Rs.1,05,000/- to the administrator of the Annadhanam Scheme the interest earned there on will provide one day annadhanam to 150 persons annually.

    As instructed by the Hindu Religious Endowment Department during the inspection of the temple in 2014-2015, this colony conservation area has been set up and is being implemented in a good manner till date.
