Pujas to Ananthakrishnan and Lord Shiva are performed only after worshiping Nagaraja every day. First Puja to Ananthakrishnan only in Arthasama Puja. The worship of this temple is according to the Kerala tantric system. There is a tradition that the main worshiper of this temple should be Namboothi from Kerala Pampan Makod. The main offering of this temple is soil mixed with water. Prayer
It is a tradition of this temple to pray to Ailya Nakshatra to get rid of evil. Adishasha, who bears Maha Vishnu, incarnated as Lakshmana of the Ramayana period. Lakshmanan Nakshatra Ayyam. Adiseshas pooja is suitable for Lakshmana. People with Ragu Ketu dosha perform Palabhishekam to Nagaraja on this day. At 10.00 am in the morning there is also Palpayasa ceremony in the puja.

The temple festivals are a 10-day festival in the month of Tai. Sundays of Avani month, Karthika festival and Surampadu festival of Aippasi month are worth mentioning. There is inscriptional evidence that Sunday worship has been going on since 1516. A special ceremony takes place on Avani Sundays. On these days, salt and pepper and wood carvings of the body like hands and feet are freely given. The custom of pouring milk to Nagar is also increasing.
