    Saint Arunagirinathar dedicated a song to Arulmigu Sugavana Subramanyar subshrine of this Temple

  • Structure

    The carved sculpture of the famous Patanjali sage is present in the right entrance of the Sugavana Nataraja subshrine. He is known for the creation of Bharatanatya form of dance. The sculpture is seen only here in the whole of Salem district.

    In our temple we admit helpless children from the age of 5 to 10 years in the karunai illam of the temple, providing basic amenities and education from the funds of the temple.

    A RO plant has been installed in the temple with a storage tank capacity of 50 litres to satisfy the drinking water need of the devotees

  • Conduct of Marriage

    To perform a marriage in this gracious temple, the groom should attain 21 years and the bride should be of 18 years age. Both the bride and groom should get an E certificate(unmarried) from revenue department. A Registration fee of Rs.1000/- is being collected and proper certificate is being issued. Further there is no registration fee if either the bride or the groom is physically disabled. Additionally, one small marriage hall is available in this temple at a charge of Rs.2000/-.

  • Wheel Chair

    One wheel chair is facilitated for the easy and convenient dharshan of the aged and physically challenged devotees of the temple. For better contact cell no.96774 45785. ( Mr.K.Raja, night watchman)

  • Golden Chariot

    The temple has a golden chariot. The devotees can pay rs.2000 and participate in the procession on their preferred dates like birthday, wedding day and other special dates.
