    Lord Thiyagaraja is the main deity of the temple. A devotee, Elelasingar was keeping some ornaments studded with precious stones to be given to the king. Two shiva devotees came to him from Kasi. Lord asked Elelasingar to give the jewels to the devotees which he obeyed. When king came and asked for the ornaments, Elelasingar stood dumbfounded when Lord came to his rescue and gave the precious jewels. Hence, Lord is praised as Manicka Thiyagar. Manickam - precious stones. Serpant Vasuki performed penance in this place as advised by sage Upamanyu. Lord blessed Vasuki in the form of an anthill. Vasuki merged with Lord. Lord came to be praised as Padampakka Nathar. There is box-like cover above the Lord. He cannot be touched and hence no abishegam to Lord but to Avudayar the base peeta only. Even the priests do no touch the Lord - Theenda Thirumeniyar. Lord untouched by human. Lord Padampakka Nathar is ever under vover and can be seen plain only for three days following Karthikai Poornami (Full moon day) in November- December for Thaila Kappu purpose-oil application on the body. He will be vovered again on the night of the third day. It is said that Lords Vishnu, Brahmma and Vasuki are worshipping Lord during these three days.

    Shiva Padma Dandavam Aadi Aruliyasthalam for Nandi Dev. Composed by Appar, Sundarar and Manikkavasakar. The place where Sundarar got married to Chanki Nachiyar. Kaliamurthinayan, Pattinathar is the birthplace of Mukti. The place has been praised by 20 benefactors including Arunagirinath, Aruprakasavallar, Pattinathar and Pampanswamy.Sangeet is also the place where kirtans are composed by murtis. Ayadis are the places of worship of Nayanmars like Kadavargon, Thirunnasambandar, Thirunavukarasar, Sundarar and Kaliamoorthy Nayanar. Panchabhuta Sthalas are located in the same area. There are separate lingams for 27 star lingams. Moolavarsuyambulingam. Karthikai Poornami and the two days following it are the only three days where Thailaabhishekam is performed.

Its called Eshi sakthi peedam. It is 253rd Thevara Sthalam of 273 Thevara Sthalam.

  • Annadhanam

    Annadhanam is carried out sincerely providing not less than 100 people daily in this Temple. Annadhanam for 100 people (one day) Rs.3,500/- Fixed deposit Rs.75,000/- (one day in the year as per wish of the donor from the interest). Donors can also avail 80G tax relate for all their donations tax towards the `Food Donation Scheme Annadhanam Account Number-10306165474 80G-DIT (E) No.2(55)02-03 date- 28.03.2008 12A- DIT (E) No.2 (1114) 07-08 date- 25.01.2008

    Thulabharam is located in out side of Arulmigu Vadivudai Amman Sannathi. ula Param is situated outside the shrine of the auspicious Vadivudai Amman. Flood, Fruits, Sugar, Rice, Coins value will be received through Dulabaram near free goddess shrine.

    In this temple, Thangaratha Bhavani is being held at 7.00 pm for the auspicious Vadivudai Amman. Devotees can perform Thangaratha Bhavani on their preferred days by booking a week in advance. Fee is Rs.2,500/- for which only five persons are allowed.

    Arulmigu Valarkali Amman Sannathi Near , Arulmigu Otriswarar Sannathi Vasantha mandapam - R.O. Purified drinking water facility is done on this three location. And one R.O. Purified plant located in annadhanam preparation and annadhanam uses.
