    The deity (Masaniamman) is seen in a lying posture measuring 17 ft from head to foot. The deity is depicted with four hands; two placed on the ground and two raised above.

  • Prayer

    The Stone (symbolizing the goddess of justice) known as Neethi Kal responds to the pleading of the teased, the one who lost his riches, and many such... People pay a visit to this temple and grind some red chilly in the temple`s stone grinder then paste of red chilies is now coated and greased on the `Neethi Kal`. It is believed that devotees get their issues sorted out within 90 days. Later they thank god by offering Gingelly Oil.

    Devotees used to write their prayers in a letter and hand over to place in Amman`s hand. Once their prayers were happened they participate in Abisheka Poojai. It is believed that a black or red thread tied in the hand is used to get relief from the effects of spells and witchcrafts. Oil used for Masaniamman Abishekam is trusted to have medicinal value and people apply it over their body to get relief from pain
