    Lord Murugan appears with His wives Valli and Deivanai in this temple alone among six house temples and separate shrine for &amplsquoVEL’ situates in this temple only. If every Tuesday do ‘Balabishekam’ to the ‘Vel’ during ‘Kala Santhi pooja’ the desired things would be fulfilled. This temple is also ‘Redeem temple’.

    The great Tamil Poet and saint Avvaiyar was tested by Lord Muruga here. In an episode of Divine Play with Avvaiyar, one of the most famous devotees of Lord Muruga,the Lord enacted the following drama. Importants in Lord Muruga`s history happened in these places. Among the Arupadaiveedu,Pazhamudircholai is the last. Lord Muruga at Palamuthircholai is praised in several works of old Tamil litertature such as a Silappathikaram, the Ettuthokai and the Pathupattu.

  • Annadhanam

    The donation for Annathanam which comes under the exemption of property tax Act 1961, U/S 80G. In our temple Free Meal (Annathanam) Conducts daily at 12:00Noon. Free meals distributes daily to 100 devotees. The persons like to donate for free meals, may participate in this scheme by donating Rs.3,500/- in the temple towards one day expense or another facility is available that if deposit Rs.35,000/-, free meals would be distributed from the interest of the deposit in any one of the days in the year, likes by the donator. The donator may donate through on-line also. Contributions made to the Annadhanam Scheme are exempted from tax under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act 1961

  • Chariot Booking

    Every day at 6.00 pm, Swami departure will be held at Golden Chariot. Devotees requesting and wishing to take Golden Chariot Swami departure can pay Rs.2000/- at the temple office and register for Swami departure. There is no Swami departure in Golden Chariot on VasanthaUrsavam (10 days), Surasamharam, Deepakarthigai, Thaipoosam (10 days), and Karthigai 4th Monday.

  • Golden Chariot

    Every day at 6 pm, Swami departs in the golden chariot. Those who wish to pull the golden chariot can pay a fee of Rs 2000/- for the golden chariot service online or by paying the fee in person at the office. Must be inside the temple by 4 pm.And only on those days when there are commanders who have deposited Rs 1,00,000 to draw gold coins for one day in a year, there is no gold booking. 5 people can participate during the Tangarath departure. Devotees who wish to depart for Golden Chariot are requested to arrive before the Chariot pulling time (4.00 PM). For more information contact 9943332282
